Building Information Modeling

Building design has moved into a new era with BIM allowing Architects, Engineers and Contractors to collaboratively work together and create a process that brings a better design and more efficient construction process.  The sharing of data among the project team members can lead to benefits for everybody involved including:

  • More projects delivered on-time and within budget
  • Higher quality of construction
  • Greater transparency throughout the life of the project which means less risk for the Owner
  • Reduces errors and eliminates conflicts caused by uncoordinated drawings
  • Design visualization and scope clarification
  • Off-site fabrication of building components resulting in less downtime and an accelerated schedule
  • Higher reliability in expected field conditions
  • Reduction in late RFIs and potential change orders

We offer complete Building Information Modeling services including:

  • Design Authoring Services - have the ability to create the architectural and structural model if the Designer has not created one for the Project to be used for construction purposes
  • 3D Coordination - digital plans can be merged to highlight areas of conflict between systems/materials
  • 4D Scheduling (construction sequence planning) - the element of time can be linked to the model to create a visual construction sequence plan
  • 5D Cost Estimation - the BIM model can be linked to a Cost Estimation program which can read the quantities of materials included in the design model and assign a potential cost to these elements
  • Design Visualization - 3D views help clarify the design intent (mock-ups and renderings)
  • Record Modeling/Facility Management - digital copy of the building's BIM is shared with the Owner and Facility Manager
  • BIM 360 Field - collaborative construction management software which enables access to the project data throughout the building construction lifecycle

Our list of software includes: Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Quantity Take-Off, BIM 360 Field, BIM 360 Glue, SketchUp, Synchro and Bluebeam Revu
