AGC Florida East Coast Celebrates Win and Recognizes Legislator of the Year

Morganti Vice President of Operations and AGC Florida East Coast Chapter Immediate Past President Stephen Sines and the Florida AGC Council presented the Legislator of the Year award to Senator Jay Trumbull (second from left) for his defense of the commercial construction community championing AGC’s priority Heat Preemption, which passed the Florida Legislature this session. Contractors can now be relieved of the burden of dealing with poorly planned Heat Standards, which were influenced by radical labor organizations. The initiative was spearheaded by AGC and its counterparts at the SF AGC and their local allies in Miami-Dade.
