The Morganti Texas Team and the City of Houston celebrated the
completion of the new Northeast Quadrant Building with a ribbon-cutting
ceremony. The new Northeast Quadrant Building is a 32,531-square-foot
administration and maintenance facility for the City of Houston, TX. The
steel and curtain wall building includes offices, storage, locker rooms,
break rooms, conference rooms, restrooms, six pump fueling stations, a
new weigh station, security fencing, and an auditorium.
One challenge of this project was that the existing building was
occupied and needed to remain fully operational until the new facility
was completed. The building will be certified LEED Silver.
